Do we need special printers or hardware?
No. NitroOrders prints to any thermal receipt printer you already own over cloud printing (Star CloudPRNT, Epson Server Direct Print) or a USB/network printer through the free NitroOrders bridge. There is no proprietary hardware to buy and nothing locked to one brand.
Does this replace our POS?
No, and it does not need to. NitroOrders runs table, pickup and delivery ordering, the kitchen screen and printing. Your existing POS keeps doing tills and end-of-day reconciliation. Many venues run both side by side.
How do payments and payouts work?
Guests can pay now by card, pay at the bar, or put it on a table tab and split it from their phone. Card processing runs at the payment provider's own published rate, never marked up by us. Payouts land in your own account on the provider's normal schedule.
What happens if the venue's wifi drops mid service?
The guest menu is cached in the browser, so a brief drop does not lose an order in progress, and staff can always take an order manually and key it in once the connection returns. We will not pretend an internet-dependent product works with no internet at all.
How long does setup take?
About 5 business days from your menu and table count to a working, tested system: menu built in, tables and QR codes generated, printer connected and a short walkthrough with your team.
We already have a website. Can we still get NitroOrders?
Yes, that is the most common way venues start. NitroOrders is a widget that drops into your existing menu page or runs as its own ordering page, on your own domain. You do not need a new site to add it.
Are there really no per-order fees?
Correct. One flat monthly price covers every order, however many you take. There is no percentage commission and no fee added to the guest's total at checkout, ever.
Is there a contract?
No lock-in. NitroOrders is billed month to month and you can cancel any time. The launch price above is a 12-month introductory rate, not a 12-month commitment.
