Free Google Review Link and QR Code Generator

Paste your Google Maps link and get a direct review link, a QR code, and ready-to-send request templates in seconds.

Getting more Google reviews usually comes down to one thing: how easy you make it. Most customers who would happily leave a five-star review never do, because finding your business on Google Maps, tapping through to reviews and locating the “write a review” button takes too many steps. Review QR removes every one of those steps.

Paste your Google Maps link, a share link from the Google Maps app, a g.page link, or even a raw Place ID, and the tool builds your direct review link immediately. That link drops a customer straight into the review box: no searching, no scrolling past your competitors, no guessing which listing is really you.

How it works. Most links resolve instantly, entirely in your browser: a Place ID, a place_id parameter or a g.page link never touch our server at all. If you paste a maps.app.goo.gl share link (the kind the Google Maps app hands you when you tap Share), the tool expands it server-side, following the redirect chain hop by hop until it lands on your real listing and pulls out the Place ID. Every hop is checked against a Google-only allowlist, so the tool only ever talks to Google’s own servers.

What you get. Your direct review URL in a one-click copy field, a QR code you can download as a crisp PNG or an infinitely scalable SVG, and a print-ready counter card formatted to print straight from your browser. Underneath that, three ready-to-send templates: an email with a full message, an SMS kept under 160 characters, and a three-line script for staff to use at the counter. Every template drops in your business name automatically if you provide one.

Built for the counter, not just the inbox. A card sitting next to the till gets scanned by customers who are already happy and already have their phone out. Pair it with the staff script (a simple, low-pressure ask right after a good interaction) and the email and SMS templates (for following up after a job, a booking or a delivery) and you have covered the three moments reviews are most likely to happen.

A note on honesty. This tool has no review-gating feature and never will. It builds a link to Google’s own review box, full stop. It cannot see, sort or filter what customers write once they get there, and we think that is exactly how review requests should work. Asking for a review is fine. Quietly routing unhappy customers somewhere else is not, and plenty of “review kit” products do exactly that. This one does not.

If a link will not resolve. A small number of share links land on a Google consent page instead of your listing, or do not expose a Place ID directly. When that happens the tool tells you plainly and points you to the Share button inside Google Maps for a fresh link, or to Google’s own Place ID Finder, where you can search for your business and copy the ID directly.

For AI agents

This tool exposes a plain-text endpoint designed for language models and agents:

GET https://nitrosites.com/tools/review-qr/scan.php?link=<Google Maps link or Place ID>&format=agent

It returns a token-cheap digest of the resolved review link, or a hint if one could not be found. Soft rate limits apply; results are cached briefly. No key or login required.

Frequently asked questions

What is a Google review link?

A direct URL that opens the review box for your business, skipping the search-and-find step. Customers who tap it can leave a review in seconds instead of hunting for your listing.

How do I find my Google Place ID?

Paste any Google Maps link, share link or g.page link into this tool and it resolves the Place ID automatically. You can also look it up with Google's own Place ID Finder, linked from the tool.

Can I put a QR code on my counter to get more reviews?

Yes. Download the PNG or SVG QR code, or print the ready-made counter card, which pairs the code with a short prompt customers can scan in seconds.

Is this tool free to use?

Yes. Completely free, no login, and no watermark on the QR code or the counter card.

Does this tool hide or filter negative reviews?

No. It only builds a link to Google's own review box. It has no ability to see, filter or gate reviews before they are posted, and it never will.

What if my Maps link will not resolve?

Some links land on a listing without exposing a Place ID, and Google sometimes shows a consent page to automated requests. The tool tells you plainly when this happens and points you to the Share button in Google Maps or Google's Place ID Finder as a fallback.
