You do. Your domain is registered in your name, in your own registrar or Cloudflare account. We are added as a technical contact or manager so we can run DNS for you, and you can remove that access at any time.
Yes. Everything written or created specifically for your business is yours on payment of the build invoice: page copy, blog articles, product descriptions, photos we shot, graphics and brand assets. Stock imagery is licensed to you where the licence allows.
No. A paid website build has no minimum term and no exit fee. Care plans are month to month and you cancel from your client area. Two offers carry a minimum because we waive a fee up front: the free website build has a 12-month minimum on Nitro Care, and the Nitro Ads free setup has a 3-month minimum. Both say so on the page where they are offered. Nothing else has a minimum.
On a paid build, nothing beyond invoices already issued. On the free build offer, the remaining months of the 12-month Nitro Care minimum. On Nitro Ads, the setup fee if you cancel inside the first 3 months. There are no other termination charges.
Yes. Ask through your client area or a support ticket. Once your account has no unpaid invoices, we deliver a static export of your public website within 10 business days at no charge. It contains the rendered HTML, CSS, JavaScript and your media, and any standard web host can serve it.
Anything that runs on our platform rather than in your site files: form processing and spam filtering, site search, the blog editor and admin area, lead tracking, and our hosting, monitoring and backups. Your new provider connects their own versions of these. The pages, design, content and images all carry across as they are.
You do. We create them in your Google account, or transfer them to you, and add our team as a manager so we can do the work. You can remove us whenever you like and nothing about the accounts changes.
Yes. The export is standard HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Any developer can host it, edit it or rebuild it on a platform of their choice. They do not need our permission and we do not need to be involved.
No. NitroCore is the in-house platform we use to build and run every client site, the same way a hosted website builder keeps its own software. Your website, its content and its design are yours. The tooling that produced it stays with us. That is the only thing we keep.
Your site keeps serving from its host and CDN, and you hold your domain, so nothing goes dark. Nitro Sites is operated by Nitrosites Pty Ltd, a company founded by the team behind Shipwreck Studio, which has hosted business websites continuously since 2006. Our commitment in that event is a full static export to every client at no cost.
Yes. Our work page lists live client websites built on NitroCore with a link to each one, so you can check speed, mobile layout and design for yourself rather than take our word for it.
